Well done to PSE ambassador Paul Dowling who last weekend won the annual Steven McColgan memorial cup!
"Huge respect to the organisers that put together a great PRS style COF.
This was a team event and I have to thank our team manager Paddy for bringing us altogether and the other members Donal, Aiden & Mirek for doing such a great job with all of us cleaning several stages.
I myself only dropped 1 shot through the entire PRS COF which was a dramatic wind change on the last stage of the day. Fortunately I could see the bullet in flight through the very excellent Element Theos 6-36x56 scope and made a correction to finish with my only 9 out of 10 for the day.
This is my 3rd time winning this trophy and it is a real honour to be a part of this memorial shoot that sends the proceeds to charity and also invited the family of Steven down to the range and it was his sons that presented us with the trophy 🏆.
Two of us were using Element Optics scopes, myself with the Theos and Donal using the Titan in what was his first PRS competition. He did amazing. My Vudoo GunWorks V22 performed to a T all balanced out in the PSE E-Tac stock. We all used my Wiebadgear fortune cookie 🥠 bag that helped settle every ones rifle while on props.
